Nikki

Nikki moved to Watford City from Cody, Wyoming, bringing with her 14 years of experience in human medicine and a lifelong passion for animals. After joining the Watford City Veterinary Center team eight months ago, she quickly discovered that veterinary medicine was where she was meant to be. What started as a new chapter has become something much more meaningful—she says the clinic has become her home, and she has truly found her calling.

One of Nikki’s favorite parts of veterinary medicine is knowing that she played a part in helping a family get their healthy, happy pet back home. She loves being able to make a difference not only for the animals in her care, but for the people who love them. She especially appreciates the people she works alongside and the sense of purpose she finds in being part of the Watford City team.

Outside of the clinic, Nikki loves spending time outdoors and making memories with her three children, Lexy, Dominick, and Derrick. Her four-legged family includes Paisley, a six-year-old Blue Heeler/Border Collie mix; Freyja, a seven-month-old Cane Corso; and Loki, a one-year-old rescue who came to the clinic as an emergency patient and was later surrendered for his safety. Nikki ultimately adopted him, giving him a second chance and adding one more member to her family.
