Diana
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Diana has been a Veterinary Technician just short of 33 years, spending the past 13 here at the Watford City Veterinary Center. She is considered to be a "unicorn" in the profession as she has been at it for so long! Diana has a deep-rooted passion for the Veterinary Technician profession, currently sitting on the North Dakota Veterinary Technician Board as the Executive Director. She has also held the offices of Secretary, President Elect, President, and Past President. Recently, Diana joined the committee to sit alongside the ND Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners to revise and make improvements to the Veterinary Practice Act, which was signed into law August 2025. She has also recently taken an advisory position on the NDSU Veterinary Technician Advisory Board. Her end goal is to help elevate and improve the Veterinary Technician's role in the delivery of care. Diana is very passionate and thoroughly enjoys teaching Veterinary Assistants the skills they need to advance their career path.
Diana has been married to her wonderful husband (and amazing support system) for 32 years! Their children are all now out of the nest so being able to travel, and enjoy time together has been a blessing. In her spare time, Diana loves to read, working on craft projects and putting her hands to use for random projects, considering herself to be a "jack of all trades but master to none!" She loves spending time outdoors, in the garden and reserves much of her time with her kids and grandkids. They have a menagerie of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens and horses - which is a passion unto it's own for Diana! Riding and training horses is where she wants to be!
